It's all for a good cause...

For those of you who have not seen Kennedy lately...approach the next few pictures with CAUTION! :) She has been growing her hair out for the last couple of years and decided to get it cut and give it to Locks Of Love! She was so excited...but I will have to say it did make me a little sad but also proud. When we got to LeAnna's (the girl who does our hair)..LeAnna told her that it was going to be short and Kennedy said in her little bubbly voice "thats fine...take what you need". WOW ! What a big girl response...but I did give LeAnna the eye as to take ONLY what she needed :) And if you didn't know and are wondering right now why I did not tell you...well Kennedy wanted it to be a suprise! So SUPRISE!!!

What is it Aunt Amy???

Is it a bird, or a plane, NO it is a little White Donut!!! And as you can see Ben LOVED it!! I guess that is what Aunts are for...to introduce new foods :)

In baseball this year Colin has been discovering sunflower seeds...the real kind as he says!

A few more baseball pictures...

We just love watching these boys play baseball...their team has made it through the first round of their tournament. They get to play two more games next week...the one of Tuesday will be against a team in our league that is undefeated so we will keep our fingers crossed for that one. These pictures are courtesy of Kennedy Photography :) She took the camera that night and took about 70 pictures...she did a great job. I especially love this first pictures...if you notice he is pointing telling the boys where to throw the ball...and to my suprise they acutally listen to him alot! He has had so much fun playing this year...we will all be sad next week when it is over! But then we will move on to concentrate more on swimming and running track! Busy, Busy, Busy!! :)

Smokies Game!!!

We went to the Smokies baseball game a couple of weeks ago and met one of Colin's friends there (Brady). Also, that night Lakin (the boy I work with at school with MD) got to thow the first pitch out. He was so excited to see me there...I didn't tell him that I was going, I just suprised him. I was able to tease him about wearing orange...since he is an Auburn fan! It was a fun night but the Smokies got beat 15-1.

Still sick...

I just wanted to update everyone on Colin...he is still sick with a high fever. We have talked to the doctor several times and they seem to think he has a virus on top of his ear infections. I wish that I had had them do bloodwork on him on Wednesday when I took him in. His temp still got up to 104 again today..so we will give this through the weekend and if he is not better by Monday I will be waiting at their door when they get there :) I feel so bad for him...he has missed his party at school and he is missing his baseball game tonight and the party that they are having afterward (he doesn't know about that). I did go in to work today since Jason was at home with him...but that was still hard for me, even if it was his daddy because his daddy is not his MOMMY!! :) Anyway I will keep you posted of any new happenings! Please just keep him in your prayers!

My sick baby...

Ok...so I feel really bad. Yesterday I took the kids to swim as normal and Colin complained as normal because the heater is broken and the pool is cold. (For those of you who really know Colin know that he is very cold natured, like his mommy) He said he was tired, his shin hurt, and his ear hurt..so I just passed him off saying that Kennedy was not complaining and that he really needed to swim. I was going to walk around the track while they were swimming and came in to check on them and Colin just kind of smiled at me, and I thought "I need to get out of here fast". So as soon as I walked back out the door Colin got out of the pool and went to the shower in the bathroom, where he stood for about 15 minutes. Anyway making the story a little shorter he woke up at about midnight crying that his ear was hurting and he was burning up hot!! I took his temp..102.8!! BAD MOMMY!! He really didn't feel good... so of course we went to the doctor today and he has two ear infections. They didn't check for anything else because they didn't want to torture him since they were going to put him on anitbiotics anyway. He fell asleep in the doctors office for about 30-40 minutes, which again is very unlike Colin..kids were screaming everywhere and he just slept. Poor baby! His temp has gotten up to 103.8 today, which is very scarey to me. He has slept all day...hopefully he will wake up feeling alot better tomorrow since it is his birthday bash (for all the kids with summer birthdays) at school tomorrow..he always seems to miss his school parties! ...I hope he can go even if it is just for an hour to the party!

A fun day at the park with Kennedy, Colin and Benjamin!!!

Field Trips and Ice Cream...

We had a great day on Friday...Jason and I both were able to go on a field trip with Colin to the Aquarium and then to the park. Kennedys class was on a field trip at the park too so we were able to be with both of them. Sorry but I do not have pictures of Kennedys trip... After we left the park we went for ice cream at the Marble Slab. A great way to end the day however that was not the end...Colin had a baseball game Friday night too!

This is Colin with his friend Luke..he knows him from school and they are on the same baseball team!
