All I heard on Tuesday was..."when is Courtney coming to play in the snow". Well as you can see she showed up :) Thanks Coutney for coming to play with the kids...they had a blast! The kids were out of school for almost a week and we loved every minute of it! I don't know if we are ready for more snow or summer :)

Fun times in the snow...
Last week the kids had a great time playing with Ben in the snow. We had several days off from school (which was awesome) We are hoping for a little more of it in the coming days...we will keep out fingers crossed.
Oh, and Whitney...I stole no borrowed this picture from you :)
I think at first Ben thought...why do you have me out here, it is freezing :)
As you can see in this picture the kids are making LARGE snowballs to throw at someone...Matt :) They had so much fun...wish daddy could have been home too!

Ok I know I am a little late...
We had Christmas with my family after Christmas. My stepdad works 2 weeks on/2 weeks off. This is something that we are used to, he has worked this way as long as I can remember. It actually was alot of fun to know that we were not really done once Christmas was over!

Here are a few more swim pictures from our Baylor meet. I am still trying to upload a video of Kennedy swimming so please be patient with me :) I will get it! ...have I said we love swimming!
Colin is the one with the blue SAC cap on, in case you can tell.
Colin, Samuel, and Silas...my camera was on the wrong setting so therefore we have the washed out look but still a great picture.
Kennedy playing spoons with her friends. This is a good way to chill and relax in between swims.

TYR Short Course meet results from this weekend...
We went to Chattanooga this weekend for a swim meet and had a great time. If you would like to see Kennedy and Colin's results from this weekends swim meet just follow this link... http://www.baylorswimming.org/meets/2008-2009/TYRShortCourseInvitational/2009TYRSCcompleteResults.htm
Their event #'s:
Kennedy
#33, #45, #51, #57, #73, #79, #91, #107...Kennedy cut time on almost all of her events, it was very exciting to see her face after each one...she now really knows that her hard work is paying off! We are very proud of her.
Colin
#32, #38, #50, #56, #66, #72, #78, #84, #96...Colin received a DQ for #72 which was the 100 Individual Medley (IM) the judge said that he turned over from his back to breast too soon, it was a questionable call...we have watched it several times on video but anyway we have moved past it and he still cut like 7 seconds off and he still had a tremendous meet. He too cut time off of all of his events.
I do still have a few pictures and a couple of videos that I would like to upload. We had a great weekend and not just swimming but spending time with friends as well. (we have some of the best :) ) Swim meets are very exhausting but worth every minute...we can't wait until the next one. February 6-8!

Thought for the day...
What a great thought...I saw this and made Kennedy hold it for a picture. I did not purchase it but I am however thinking of going back to get it. With all of the smart mouths and attitudes going on in our house right now (I must admit...including myself) it may not be a bad idea to have one in each room :) If you actually read it slowly it really will make you think! You may have to click the picture to blow it up and read it...the words may be too small otherwise.
