We went to Chattanooga this weekend for a swim meet and had a great time. If you would like to see Kennedy and Colin's results from this weekends swim meet just follow this link... http://www.baylorswimming.org/meets/2008-2009/TYRShortCourseInvitational/2009TYRSCcompleteResults.htm
Their event #'s:
Kennedy
#33, #45, #51, #57, #73, #79, #91, #107...Kennedy cut time on almost all of her events, it was very exciting to see her face after each one...she now really knows that her hard work is paying off! We are very proud of her.
Colin
#32, #38, #50, #56, #66, #72, #78, #84, #96...Colin received a DQ for #72 which was the 100 Individual Medley (IM) the judge said that he turned over from his back to breast too soon, it was a questionable call...we have watched it several times on video but anyway we have moved past it and he still cut like 7 seconds off and he still had a tremendous meet. He too cut time off of all of his events.
I do still have a few pictures and a couple of videos that I would like to upload. We had a great weekend and not just swimming but spending time with friends as well. (we have some of the best :) ) Swim meets are very exhausting but worth every minute...we can't wait until the next one. February 6-8!

Thought for the day...
What a great thought...I saw this and made Kennedy hold it for a picture. I did not purchase it but I am however thinking of going back to get it. With all of the smart mouths and attitudes going on in our house right now (I must admit...including myself) it may not be a bad idea to have one in each room :) If you actually read it slowly it really will make you think! You may have to click the picture to blow it up and read it...the words may be too small otherwise.
Start your day out right with a little cosmic bowling...
This was such a fun outing with the swim team on Saturday morning...I really wanted to be lazy in bed but was so glad I got up and let them go. There was a great turn out and they had a lot of fun with their friends! Way to go Coach Josh for planning this one!
Look how far bowling shoes have come...
Actually playing together...
On a day when we were out of school for LOTS of rain, I walked into Colin's room and they were playing. They were so proud at what they had worked on "TOGETHER". Seems here lately anything that is "together" is difficult. I thought they did a great job!
Can you believe she even trusted him enough to put makeup on her...she didn't realized her face looked like this though :)
Viva Las Vegas...
Jason and I had a great time in Vegas. We did expand a little bit this time. We went to see the Cirque Du Soliel "O" Show...it was totally amazing, I would highly recommend it. We also went to see David Spade...another great show, especially if you are a fan of his! We stayed at the Palazzo which is connected to the Venetian, it was a very nice hotel.
This was outside in front of Caesars Palace...it was a beautiful shrine.

Skittles...Can you seperate the rainbow?
If you have any other ideas please let me know!

Christmas Time...
We had a wonderful Christmas...we were able to see most everyone in our families and everyone stayed healthy. Through the year God has blessed us in so many ways...and more than anything we thank Him for His gift...His Son!
Ok...so I am now totally caught up on my blog...I know I know..you are shocked! Well let me say, don't get used to it, we have a very busy few months ahead. Kennedy and Colin have 3 swim meets within about aout a months time (all of them out of town) and baseball practice will start anytime now. We are very excited with what lies ahead but it makes me tired thinking about it all :)
How cute is this :)
Blurry picture but you have to see how excited Kennedy is with her draw gift from Megan...a makeup set!
Kennedy with her grammy!
Colin was so excited when he opened his draw name (Jake) gift! WOW! Xbox Games...of course when is he not excited :)

Jake and Ben showing love! How sweet!

WOW!! When we got home from Daddy's Meme's house "Santa" had already been to our house! What an exciting night. Santa was VERY good to them. Colin got a pitching machine and Kennedy got an Ipod Touch (I guess to replace her Ipod that I washed in the washing machine...oops).
