Lets Swim!!!

This was Kennedys first day of swim...I think she is very excited for this change. We are even thinking about running track this summer(Kennedy and Colin)...WOW my girly girl running track and getting sweaty..now that is a change!

Hey batter batter...swing!!

Colin is playing for the Cubs this year in baseball...he is playing with lots of his friends from church and school! He has really improved this year..he thinks he is the best of course..one things our kids don't lack is self confidence :) He is playing short stop this year and he is loving playing that position. If you can't tell by the picture below he loves to slide into home..or any base for that matter! I don't really know if it is the sliding or the getting dirty or maybe just a little of both! One night he actually rolled across homeplate and I asked him why he did that and he said "Because I wasn't dirty enough"! Go figure??? It is so much fun watching these little guys play..even Kennedy loves it..we bought her a score book and she is now keeping score!

She makes me feel like dancing...

As much as I complain, I love watching her dance...so I guess this is a bitter sweet as the end is near. Kennedy has already started swimming and loving it! She finishes up with dance on May 4..which is her last competition. She has worked so hard for the last several months and now is when the fun begins. She has already had two competitions and has done great in both..but let me say as I am typing this I am really sad but Kennedy reminds me everyday how she is ready for dance to be over. For whatever reason she has had a real stressful year at dance..probably just having to dance so many hours and missing so many parties because of it and maybe she is just ready for a change. We really worried about her making the right decision but God has shown us and her that it is time to move on...and with that being said let me just say...our year next year should be much easier with both of them swimming..I think!

Our Spring Break Vacation...Little Gasparilla Island!!

Sorry it took so long for me to post...life here as I am sure with everyone else too....is crazy. It seemed to take me forever to get caught up once we got back from the beach. We jumped right back into school, dance, baseball, and swim...and of course work!! We had a great time on our much needed vacation...we loved this place and hope to return again later this summer! It was very nice and peaceful.


We are not sure if these are Coconuts or something else but right when we got there we looked outside and Colin had a collection of them at the bottom of the steps.

Our house we stayed in is the one to the left...this was the pathway to the beach...there are no roads on the island.

Kennedy has found a new hobby...chasing birds! She ran all week chasing birds...

Colin and I were searching for sharks teeth...we found about 300 during the week!

Colin was skim boarding...he even made a friend that he was able to play with for a couple of days.

Kennedy is laying on seashells...they were like this all up and down the beach. It was alot of fun digging through them and seeing the different shells.

Kennedy's "Invention"

This is Kennedy with her CSA teacher Mrs. McCullough...she was supposed to make an invention..she decided to design a new game. This idea was all hers...she did a great job. It is called Exercise O' Rama..full of fun and exercise!
